Which Devonia products do you use and where?

We use the bottled Sparkling & Still Spring Water (750ml) within our Event &Conference Functions, and also for sale within our Food & Beverage Outlets. The 750ml bottles are provided as part of a free Welcome Basket for our Lodge guests and the smaller 175ml are provided within the hotel bedrooms for guest consumption.

What is important to you as a business?

That we are able to offer our guests a quality product which can be locally sourced and meets our sustainable goals, emphasizing a positive environmental message.

What element of Devonia was most appealing to you?

The fact that it is a local family run business, the ethos of the business, and the sustainable journey of the product.

Do you get positive feedback from your customers about Devonia?

Yes.

How has Devonia helped with securing Green Tourism?

As a product that we purchase in volume and use on a day-to-day basis the transition to Devonia, with their full recycling process has improved considerably our sustainable practices. In addition the locality of the business for deliveries to the hotel creates less food miles and a much better environmental practice.

Do you see Devonia as a reliable and friendly supplier?

Most definitely, the delivery and collection process are always well managed, staff are friendly and helpful, and the products arrive promptly.

What impact has Devonia had on Bovey Castle Hotel & Spa?

It has become part of the Bovey Castle offering, in our aim to showcase the best of local produce and reduce our carbon footprint.

Are there any goals that you have set in the past year that Devonia has helped you to achieve?

It was evidenced in our accreditation by Green Tourism Submission, in which we were delighted to succeed in attaining a Silver Award on our first application. Bovey Castle will continue to work on its sustainability journey to achieve Gold status.

Were there any challenges during the implementation stages, and did Devonia help you through them?

The were no challenges, the transition to Devonia was very straightforward and a procedure was easily put in place to allow for the recollection of the bottles after use.

What do you think about Devonia’s new branding?

We very much like the new branding, it is fresh, and the message is clear as we associated the graphic with the likeness to the recycling logo. Although we do feel you could emphasise the COLLECT - WASH - REUSE - DELIVER even more. The distinction between Spring and Sparkling is also easier to identify than the old branding if you are not aware of the colours.

Is there anything else you would like to add?

We look forward to continuing our relationship with Devonia and saving the environment bottle by bottle.
